MONITORING, ANALYSIS, OPERATION
Continuous Monitoring in Real-time
All energy phenomena are dynamic, meaning they change over time, and the change occurs with filing for future reference and often, predictable logic. A monitoring system, which instead of taking a single "photo" of the phenomena that it observes, it take a continuous "film" making it easier for the human eye to understand the dynamic, such as trends and deviation from the norm.
Visualization and Analysis of Data over time
It is a matter of "systems" as they are composed of hardware, software, and services that allow you to:
- View real-time phenomena that are observed, typically through a "dashboard" giving a synopsis, viewable with a PC, tablet or smartphone.
- Continuously archive data to allow historic and predective analyses, also through "indicators", namely summarizing formulas that make trends perceptible at a glance .
Remote Control
Implementing commands from a remote point is inherent in the logic of networks; from anywhere in the world, through the Internet, a command or signal can be sent to activate a programmed action. A monitoring system which allows you to verify, always from afar, what the actual effects of the sent commands are.

INTELLIGENT GATEWAYS FOR EXISTING COMPLEX BUILDINGS AND ORGANISATIONS WITH A LARGE GEOGRAPHICAL PRESENCE
The multiprotocol heart of the system - KNX, Modbus, Z-Wave, ZigBee, Ecelon, EnOcean, Philips Hue, Bticino MyHome, all protocols currently implemented - allows you to interact with existing buildings without automation or with outdated automation (1985 -2005).
This feature allows you to build a system that adapts to any situation and this is why it is recommended in schools, universities, hospitals, offices, banks, supermarket chains, i.e. multi-standard buildings: residences, offices, education, commercial, even contemporary.
The intelligent gateway, developed by Politecnico di Torino, is released Open Source under Apache License 2.0 (https://dog-gateway.github.io).
